Post Has anyone tried Rene Furterer Products?
So, I got a new hair cut yesterday. I have never had my hair this short in my life.....but the good thing is the hair fall is not as noticeable with it this short now. The bad thing, thinning spots are still noticeable and it is KILLING me. At any rate, my salon has brought these new products in from the Rene Furterer line. It's a line from Paris and they have a hair system specifically formulated for reactional hair loss from stress, pregnancy, or medications etc...it's called RF80 and consists of a Complex 5 essential oil serum, oil ampoules and a fortifying shampoo. The owner of the salon highly recommends it. I was wondering if anyone else that has TE has heard of this line and if they have tried it?? Reviews on the internet seem to be pretty positive.....

Nope, not me! I bought the Wen Products and absolutely love it.

I'm all for trying new things -- just use one at a time.

Hey - how did your derm appointment go? Did you get the biopsy?

Hello Osugirl!

Please do let me know how it goes for you and what you think. Even if it decreases your hair shed by a little bit. I purchased the RF 80 and have just done my third treatment. I haven't noticed any difference in shedding, but on the days that I do use the ampoule, my hair always looks really good. I am going to use the whole box and see what happens. Normally I abandon ship on things if they don't work right away, but I'm going to give this product a good run and see what happens....

I used the product today for the first time. First you apply an oil and let it sit for 5 - 10 min. then you wash with a special stimulating shampoo and finally you apply one ampule that is supposed to stimulate growth. The oil really burned my head! On the box it says that you will feel the heat and that means that it's working, but geez, it's been almost an hour and I can still feel it slightly! I think I saw an increased shed during my first application - but I can't be sure. It's just one day, but I'll let you know if I see a trend.

Thank you for the update, and please do keep me posted regularly, if you can. I'd like to know what it does to your shed. I think the RF 80 cold be causing me to shed more and it's making me a little nervous....they did mention that it could cause an increase in shed around week 3 or 5, and I just did my 3rd treatment a few days ago, so......but if you keep me posted on your end, I'll let you know how it's going on mine. I haven't been using the complex 5 yet, as I ordered it, but it hasn't come yet; but, I have heard that it can cause a bit of burning when you apply and the rep said that was normal.....

Hi Osugirl! Just wondering how it's going with the Triphasic? Have you noticed any improvement? I've been using RF 80 for 6 weeks, and it really hasn't made any difference in my shedding, but I am definitely seeing a lot more regrowth.....just wondering if you have an update?

Hi LittleRed!!

I just finished my 4th week of the triphasic. (2 ampules per week) Now I move on to 1 ampule per week. And. . . . I think I am seeing some regrowth!!! I want to wait another month or two just to be sure that what I'm seeing is real, and if it is - woot, woot!!! :cheer:

Glad to hear that it's working for you, too! Let's keep comparing notes!

Hi Osugirl!

Thanks for your reply; and I am glad to hear that you may be seeing regrowth!!! YAY! : )

I just finished my 8th treatment of the RF 80 and I have to say that right now, my hair has been better than it has EVER been before this whole thing started, which was 17 months ago. I don't know if it is just the RF 80 or other things that I am doing right now; but I am also seeing a TON of regrowth. My regimen right now includes RF 80 once per week, essential oil treatments for hair loss every second night, laser hair comb, acupuncture treatments and I am also taking homeopathic medication. Since I have started the homeopathic medication, my hair shed has dramatically decreased. I hope your hair gets better and better with the Triphasic. Do keep me posted, as I am interested in whether you notice any difference after using the kit completely. Best Wishes!! :P

Great news!!! What essential oil treatments are you using? And how do you apply them? I may start doing this as well. :D
