Many doctors will require the following blood tests be done to successfully diagnose PCOS in a patient:
Fasting comprehensive biochemical and lipid panel;
2-hour GTT with insulin levels (also called IGTT);
LH:FSH ratio;
Total testosterone;
DHEAS;
SHBG;
Androstenedione;
